OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (COMMONWEALTH EMPLOYMENT) (NATIONAL STANDARDS) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2007 (NO. 2) (SLI NO 30 OF 2007)

- Description:These Regulations amend the Occupational Health and Safety (Commonwealth Employment) (National Standards) Regulations 1994 to give partial legislative effect to the National Standard for Construction Work declared by the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission in 2005 and impose specific duties on employers, employees and contractors in relation to work where there is a risk of fall from 2 metres or more. These Regulations also amend Part 8 to extend in part its coverage to the storage and handling of explosives in the workplace and provide for the notification of explosives.
